Mandriva, formerly known as Mandrakesoft, is the publisher of Mandriva Linux, an easy-to-use and innovative operating system.

The company serves both the corporate market (enterprises, government organizations and educational institutions) and the consumer market. Mandriva is one of the few worldwide Linux providers with the most popular Linux edition. Dedicated to making open source technologies accessible to all users, the company offers a full range of products and services to individuals, enterprises and government organizations.

Mandriva has acquired several companies through its existence: Edge-IT, a Paris, France based corporate support company, which now forms the backbone of its corporate support organization; Conectiva, a Curitiba, Brazil based company, the South American Leader of Linux; and more recently Linbox, a Metz, France based company focusing on open source infrastructure tools.

Mandriva products are available online in 80 languages and in more than 140 countries through dedicated channels.

Headquartered in Paris, France, the company is publicly traded on the Euronext Marché Libre.

Mandriva Pakistan was founded in September 2007 to offer sales and support for Mandriva in Pakistan. Currently based in Islamabad and with local offices planned in all four major cities of Pakistan, Mandriva is dedicated to providing quality linux solutions accessible to the public.
